Most of our team is based in San Francisco, but as we work 100% remotely for the time being we’ve wandered off to new places, from New York to Hawaii. Wherever we are, we work tirelessly for our clients, and also pursue interests ranging from photography, interior decoration, hiking, cats, travel, to snowboarding.
The Role
Account Executives are the front line of our Brand Partnerships team, contacting companies who highly value influencer marketing and engaging them in conversation about solutions we can offer. On any given day, they are organizing and qualifying leads according to our ideal customer profiles, running demos, leading onboarding calls, and managing the client/company relationship throughout the customer journey. They are the champions of new customers, going above and beyond to make sure the customer’s first year journey is successful.
Account Executives are part of the Brand Partnerships team, which plays a strategic, critical role in Creator Deck’s growth. This cross-functional role supports sales for both SaaS and client services, working closely with teammates across the sales, service, and technology branches of our team.
This role will start by working closely with our Head of Sales and will initially focus on our service offerings. The top performing Account Executive will be promoted to lead the build out of new sales pipelines for our SaaS offering.
Responsibilities:

Plan a book of business and target prospecting lists with key accounts

Drive lead generation, following tried and true company tactics and also innovating by suggesting new ideas

Connect with and qualify leads

Build new business and relationships with key companies and brands (it’s a plus if you have robust existing relationships in the influencer space)

Craft and deliver pitches

Manage all phases of the sales pipeline, from prospecting to demonstrations to negotiation and closing

Work closely with the Executive, Product, and Client Services teams to provide a best-in-class client experience

What it takes to excel:

Excellent verbal, written, and persuasive communication skills

Initiative to tackle challenges in the sales process

Grit and Positivity – resourceful, persistent, and eager to seek out new customers

Ability to identify sales roadblocks and translate them into new feature recommendations

Highly collaborative team spirit

2+ years experience selling in competitive sales environment, ideally in the influencer, digital agency or SaaS space

Creative strategy and thought processes around defining the value offering to the customer

Commitment to doing whatever it takes to ensure that the customer has a great experience

Extremely organized, a meticulous keeper of tasks, and deadlines

Curiosity about clients’ pain points and requests, even if we can meet them at the current juncture
