We are currently seeking a talented Technical Salesperson to join our Brisbane Branch team and to be part of our next phase of growth plans. The successful applicant will coordinate, develop and implement business strategic plans aligned to sales objectives within their defined region, maintain and build strong business relationships with key stakeholders/accounts and ensure Specialised Force delivers valued outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Make sales calls to existing and new clients to generate increased sales and respond to sales enquiries
Maintain and develop existing client relationships as well as build new client relationships through referrals, phone canvassing, email, and networking.
Some travel intrastate/interstate may be required from time to time
Negotiate supply contracts with key clients
Contribute to the development of sales strategies in conjunction with the Branch Manager to drive sales targets supporting business plan objectives.
Prepare sales reports and activities as required.
Attend, partake and assist with trade shows and events.
Track, coordinate, and manage client feedback/activities.
Maintain customer database details and requirements.
Liaise with sales staff and others within the region to ensure timely delivery of information required to meet internal and external deadlines and priorities.
What we’re looking for:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
A self-starter who is highly motivated and ambitious when it comes to delivering customer value
Understanding of high-pressure hydraulics and experience with related mechanical equipment sales, services, and solutions will be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in meeting sales/revenue targets
Proven track record in developing new accounts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
A team player with excellent customer service skills
Intermediate computer skills
High attention to detail
